VC Motors in Waipukurau has become New Zealand’s first dedicated ‘all makes’ AC Delco store.

With almost 50-years of experience in the automotive industry and more than 30 years as a Holden Certified Service Centre, Vaughan Chote and his team are looking forward to the opportunity the new AC Delco store presents.

“We can’t wait to deliver a new level of service to our valued customers,” Chote says.

“We started from humble beginnings at VC Motors in 1990 and have grown the business to include nine employees.  A lot of our success is thanks to the local district, so we can’t wait to introduce them to the AC Delco experience.”

The new AC Delco store in Waipukurau officially opened on October 27, 2022 and more information can be found at www.acdelcovcmotors.co.nz AC Delco offers parts, batteries, oils as well as an all-makes servicing option in addition to parts sales to trade and retail customers.

“Key to AC Delco is that it is an aftermarket brand which can fulfil the needs of a huge variety of customers’ automotive requirements, ranging from a vehicle service through to parts,” GM New Zealand aftersales general manager Stephen Matthews says.

“We believe there is a significant opportunity for VC Motors to make a real statement in their local area and enhance the service offering available to their customers and is likely to be the first of a number of AC Delco stores the length of New Zealand,” he says.

AC Delco also offers factory parts for vehicles manufactured by GM, aftermarket parts for non-GM vehicles as well as vehicle servicing.

“AC Delco all-makes products have an excellent reputation for quality and affordability, while trained technicians using quality Holden Genuine and all-makes AC Delco parts are able to service the needs of not just Holden owners, but also the motoring needs of most vehicle owners in the Waipukurau district,” Matthews says.

In addition to selling parts to the public, AC Delco stores will also offer servicing for a variety of makes and models.

“We anticipate there will be a growing demand for all-makes servicing as the average age of vehicles increases and they are no longer covered by brand-specific scheduled servicing agreements,” Matthews says.

“We’re excited to be part of the growth of AC Delco and believe there is a huge opportunity for the brand as motorists become aware of the range of parts as well as servicing options available.”

“AC Delco is a well-known global brand that is designed and tested by General Motors, at a price that will meet the needs of vehicle owners of all brands and makes in the Waipukurau area,” GM Asia Pacific strategic markets regional director William Henrie says. Will
