Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand has renewed its support for Wellington Free Ambulance, supplying the rapid response unit with a fleet of the latest generation of Outlander SUVs.
“Thanks to a generous discount from Mitsubishi Motors NZ Ltd, you’ll see four new rapid response ambulances out and about across the region,” says Wellington Free Ambulance.
“These state-of-the-art Mitsubishi Outlanders carry the exact same kit as a standard ambulance and are used by our shift managers and urgent community care teams.
“They play a vital role in our emergency road ambulance response getting our people to where they are needed the most.
“A huge thank you from everyone at Wellington Free for the ongoing support of Mitsubishi Motors.”
Mitsubishi has supplied vehicles to the Wellington unit for several decades, dating back to the Sigma wagons of the late 1980s.
Wellington Free Ambulance’s current fleet includes Tritons, Pajero Sports, last-gen Outlanders, Volkswagen Caddys, and Mazda6s alongside their fleet of full-size Mercedes-Benz ambulances.
