The MG4 has been voted the 2023 New Zealand Car of the Year as judged by the New Zealand Motoring Writer’s Guild.
It beat seven other battery-electric vehicles, a PHEV and a hybrid which were amongst the top ten finalists.
The award was presented live on Seven Sharp on February 17, 2024 with the guild president Robert Barry presenting the Peter Greenslade Trophy to MG Motor New Zealand country manager Arek Zywot.
