GWM New Zealand has announced another two new local dealerships will soon represent the Chinese brand in Nelson and Timaru with showroom openings scheduled in the coming weeks.

The brand is also expecting its first shipments of the Tank off-road SUV to land in the country shortly.

The network expansion announcement follows the West City GWM showroom in Westgate, Auckland and the Ebbett Pukekohe GWM pop-up store recently commencing operations.

As part of GWM’s 2024 growth strategy, it says local buyers will now be able to experience a brand new GWM in more locations as the national dealer network expands to 21.

In addition, GWM New Zealand has extended its new vehicle warranty from 5 years/150,000 km to 7 years/unlimited km.

The new warranty takes effect immediately and will be backdated to all New Zealand customers who have purchased a new GWM or Haval from January 1, 2024.
