Ford New Zealand returns to the Hot Spring Spas T20 Tauranga Black Clash on January 20 at Bay Oval Tauranga as a major sponsor and the official vehicle partner.

Ford has been a major sponsor of the popular event for three years, providing vehicles such as the Ford Transit Tourneo and Ford Everest to transport the teams to and from the oval.

The Ford team has again created a new special event t-shirt to throw out to the crowd at the break.

In addition, some punters will win the best seats in the house – the ‘Ranger Terraces’ will be set up in the back of a Ford Ranger Raptor and parked on the pitch just outside the boundary line.

While seated in the back of the Ford Ranger, the winners of the ‘Ranger Terraces’ seats also get full catering service for the match.

“It’s a fantastic event and we’re more than happy to be a part of it,” Ford New Zealand managing director Simon Rutherford says.

“It makes sense for Ford to provide transport and display vehicles. But in addition to that, it’s a great day out for the entire community. And for the Ford team, it’s become one of our favourite events to support.”

The Hot Spring Spas T20 Black Clash pits New Zealand’s biggest stars of rugby and cricket against each other in a hugely fun T20 cricket match that takes place on January 20.
