In partnership with select BYD dealers, BYD Auto NZ has formed a dedicated fleet team with fleet managers based in key cities.

BYD Auto NZ’s team of fleet experts dedicated to assisting with all fleet and leasing enquiries comprises Marcus Walker from Andrew Simms Auckland, Rob Soeberg at Bayswater Hawke’s Bay, Carl Hayman at Ebbett BYD Hamilton, Chris Viviers at Johnston Ebbett Wellington and Lea Godfrey at Euromarque BYD Christchurch.

The brand intends releasing a further five models in the next year, including an electrified off-road capable ute, adding to the BYD Atto 3 and Dolphin already here.

BYD Auto NZ says it is proud to be on the ‘All of Government Supplier’ list to help government departments with a goal of running all electric vehicle fleets by the end of 2025 and is also a chosen brand for many businesses and not-for-profit organisations.

The company has more than 200 BYD vehicles already in government departments.

Meanwhile, a dedicated panel repair network prioritising BYD customers is in most cities, ensuring all fleet and private customers have their BYD vehicle back on the road as quickly as possible.

“BYD has one core mission and that is to cool the earth by one degree Celsius,” says BYD Auto NZ general manager Warren Willmot.

“The fastest way for us to help achieve this is to support New Zealand fleet businesses. With future models on the horizon, it’s a very exciting time for the BYD brand and we can’t wait to continue increasing our growth in the fleet space.”

BYD NZ offers fleet customers ongoing support by way of a dedicated dealer service network, dedicated panel and paint network, a full suite of vehicle product guides and ‘how to’ videos, and the outstanding ‘Blade battery’ technology that consistently offers strength, range, longevity and power.
