Protecta is one of 15 companies which has been named in the 2021 Top Insurance Employers list by Insurance Business New Zealand (IBNZ) magazine.

Nominations were open to insurers, brokerages, underwriting agencies and other firms in the sector according to IBNZ magazine.

Protecta Insurance New Zealand chief executive Phil Hibbert thanked his “strong awesome” staff of 60 people on LinkedIn following the announcement of the list of top insurance employers by the industry publication.

“I am very heartened to see the hard work and dedication from our team over the last two years,” Hibbert says.

“With ongoing adoption of digitalisation, and navigation through major transformational change from our traditional business practise, all whilst trading during the challenges of a Covid environment, is an amazing accomplishment.

“The business made some very difficult decisions, but the business and the staff of Protecta demonstrate extreme resilience.
